Ashridge Estate House
Nestled in the heart of the Chiltern’s rolling hills, the house is one of the most historically significant landmarks in all of Hertfordshire.
The house originally functioned as a Monastery from the year 1283. Henry VIII and Princess Elizabeth independently lay residence at Ashridge from 1539-1554. By 1914, the house had been rebuilt and was now working as a hospital throughout WWI.
Today it is the home of Ashridge Business School, as well as the most scenic duathlon in Hertfordshire.
